I am unable to attend the Scottsdale conference. I am sure we have much in common in designing for aging. I read an article in graduate school that really hit home. It talked about how, sometimes, people that move into nursing care, after living in their homes for 50+ years, lose their will to thrive. A sad commentary on the state of some homes. Aging in place and designing independent living / assisted living facilities from a humanistic and holistic view is critical to health and wellbeing - as you know.
I am sure our paths will cross soon. Have a wonderful Holiday!
