It was great to have met at BOD 10.. thoroughly enjoyed the insightful conversation and our first BPN Conference. Christina and I hit the ground running on Tuesday morning loaded with great ideas.. Let's stay in touch..
It's been a bit crazy. We started off with getting a 1/2 page spread on our ShowRise project in the Houston Chronicle. No calls directly on it, but I know a fair amount of people saw it. In fact an 80 year old gentleman walked into the art gallery who provided the art just last week to purchase the art work in the photo. We also suppose to get published in the Houston Design Resource Spring Edition, which is nice because it has a 6-month shelf life. And an article in Luxury Home Quaterly is due next month. March was busy. I put up a prayer that business would grow for small business owners and walked out of the meeting with 3 jobs. I'm definately putting that type of marketing into action more often. :) More later - how's life?
Well as you can imagine 2009 was a terrible year for my firm. Without question the worst in operating a business in 12 years. We are slowly beginning to see the light in the tunnel but I am walking very softly now. We have a few great projects and a few more RFP's. I have cut my expenses and overhead down to the minimum and I have tightened down the hatches. Anyhow, things will improve and we are working it as hard as ever to make it happen.
How's life in your world? Have you had any highly successful marketing campaigns? I think we have tried over 35 different marketing strategies over the past two years. Some have worked and some have not. When yo get a chance drop me a line and let me know what's up.
As far as I can tell both Ruth Anne and I will be in New York in September.
Thanks Dianna, we used constant contacts templates and modified it to what we wanted. We changed it so much that is doenst look like one of their templates. Veronica, my designer did it, she did a great job. Thanks. See you in SA next week.
